Similar to "Shaken, Not Stirred" - this map version does not reflect a decision of the W6TF. The W6TF has not made any ANC or SMD boundary decisions. That being said, Fengler offers a map version that essentially creates ANC 6E - an entirely northwest ANC. The dividing line is North Capitol / South Capitol with the exception of the ANC 6C "horns" that surround our Nation's Capitol. The "Horned" Version also includes NoMa into ANC 6C and extends their boundary south of East Capitol Street to create the seventh SMD.
Comments, criticisms, and politely worded rants are welcome. Posted by Joe Fengler.

Both of these options for 6C make sense, although as a Near Northeast resident I would also be okay with Near Northeast/NoMa going with the rest of H Street.
ReplyDeleteI prefer the second of these two 6C options, however ("horned"). If 6C includes some of SE Capitol Hill, then it makes sense for these residents to be able to weigh in on issues at Eastern Market (which they could since it would be directly across the street).
Once again, thank you so much for all of the effort put into this.
